Our Christmas Lighting Guide To London This December

IT'S THAT SPECIAL TIME OF YEAR AGAIN WHEN LONDON IS ILLUMINATED WITH SOME OF THE BEST LIGHTS AROUND THE WORLD AND OUR TEAM COULDN'T WAIT TO GO OUT AND EXPLORE THE BEST OUR STUDIO'S CITY HAD TO OFFER - HERE ARE OUR TOP FIVE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS HIGHLIGHTS FROM AROUND LONDON:


1. Oxford Circus

Traditionally London's most famous street for its impressive Christmas light display and this year the twinkling little stars have taken over. The twinklers illuminate one of the most fashionable areas in London, giving a warm, calm and romantic atmosphere to the busy street. Who wouldn’t want to walk under the stars whilst shopping?

 

 

2. Carnaby Street

Another one of London's most famous high streets, which is also famous for its Christmas lights, has once again delivered a beautiful display named Carnaby Kaleidoscope. Not only does this installation make the street extremely festive, but it is also to raise awareness for a charity to help refugees all over the world. The spectacular display consists of large 2D & 3D butterflies, bright patterns and large glittering signs which never fails to make things feel magical.

3. Covent Garden

Covent Garden could be the city's most festive area - a beautiful location with great entertainment, shops and endless amounts of restaurants to choose from. This year the main piazza has the legendary Christmas tree standing at 60 foot tall with giant baubles inside the dome arcade and fake snow falling softly on the passing shoppers. The twinkling lights cover the whole area and we couldn’t feel any more festive, not forgetting to explore the stalls for little gifts over mulled wine and nibbles.

 

 

4. Kew Gardens

Kew Garden is famous for their incredible botanical gardens but has also built a reputation for its beautiful light display. The winter wonderland has a true magical ambiance with their twinkling tunnels, decorative trees and imaginative installations displayed across the grounds perfect for families, friends and children. Not forgetting the small details to finish the experience, they have onsite market stalls that offer warm food, treats and drinks too.

5. Lightopia at Crystal Palace

The award winning light festival Lightopia has arrived at Crystal Palace. The incredible display will be running until January 2022. The festival will have spectacular Installations , colourful projections, festive Christmas decorations,  multi sensory interactive lights which all tell a story on the long trail.  An unforgettable experience for friends and family that will make your Christmas feel truly special and magical.
