The beautiful Salla chandelier was designed especially for the RNLI Garden. Inspired by a traditional lantern with a twist of modern architecture and sculpture, the Salla features strong lines and flawless symmetry. The multi-faceted pendant, which was handmade in our London workshops, takes centre stage in the striking oak pavilion.
“Light is known for being one of the first signs of a rescue - we were honoured to be able to symbolise this with our Salla chandelier and showcase the amazing work of the RNLI. We were delighted to be asked by Chris Beardshaw to collaborate on the RNLI Show Garden, and unveil the Salla chandelier for the first time at Chelsea Flower Show.”
- Ian Cameron, Creative Director at Cameron Design House
Bringing elements of the charity’s Georgian heritage but with contemporary flair, the RNLI garden perfectly represents the evolution of the organisation. Complemented by Cameron Design House’s Salla pendant, the contemporary chandelier works perfectly to reflect natural light around the garden and to create a striking feature. This was of great importance to designer Chris Beardshaw who wanted to create an impact, by opting for a strong, grounding light sculpture.
A combination of elegant design, sensibility and creative flair, Chris Beardshaw with the help of Cameron Design House has been able to create an inspirational garden that reflects the hard work, effort and ethos of all involved with the charity.
